Useful tools to help cabibrate your computer monitor

I installed this gray scale on my site to help you view images of original artwork in a way that is consistant with the way the original paintings look. Since monitors vary, I thought it would be helpful to point you to the following sites so that you could do a quick check up on your monitor . The main thing when looking at the value scale above is to be able to see the 26-steps of value, from white to black, on the gray scale. If you can see them all, that's great. If you can't see all of them, check the sites below for some quick tools to help you calibrate your monitor for viewing art online:

TIP: If you're shopping for a new computer monitor, it is a good idea to view these sites from the monitor your are going to purchase in the store, before you buy it.
