Dandelion (aka Phyllis Diller)
Oil on board
A smile is a curve that sets everything straight -- Phyllis Diller
Dandelions remind me of Phyllis Diller. They have a funny, frazzled look about them with those petals sticking upward. Just like laughter, dandelions, as an herb, are very good for you. And, according to this*New Yorker Magazine article, Phyllis Diller is a painter. She hosts several art parties each year where she sells her work along with some of her outfits and jewelry. Can you imagine how much fun that would be?
I asked the waiter, "Is this milk fresh?" He said, "Lady, three hours ago, it was grass." -- Phyllis Diller
